Komel Kaur
Master's in PsychologyCBT · DBT · SFBT · REBT Certified

I'm a trained psychotherapist and executive coach based in the UAE. I work with clients online over secure video, worldwide, in English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, and Kashmiri.

I spent more than a decade in corporate work before training as a psychotherapist.

I use evidence-based therapeutic techniques along with a holistic approach tailored to each client's emotional and psychological needs.

My approach is practical. I'll listen carefully, and when it helps, I'll say what I see. We don't dig into the past unless it's getting in the way of your present.

I draw on cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and rational emotive behaviour therapy, alongside executive coaching tools when goals and decisions are the focus.

Across cultures

I work with clients rooted in South Asian, Middle Eastern, and European contexts. That means understanding the unspoken: family expectations, identity, faith, migration, intergenerational patterns, and the quiet weight of holding more than one world at once. You won't have to over-explain where you come from.

Confidentiality

Everything we discuss stays between us. Sessions are held under professional ethics and data protection standards. Nothing leaves the room without your written consent, with the standard exceptions for risk of serious harm.

Who I work with

Capable adults who look fine on the outside and want something to actually shift on the inside. People navigating breakups, burnout, stress, confidence, family patterns, and big life decisions.

My job isn't to give you new tools. It's to make the room safe enough that you can use the ones you already have.

Outside the room

I read a lot. I think a lot of what passes for "wellness" online is making people worse.
