ADHD in adults
Do I have ADHD?
Many adults realize they've been living with ADHD only after years of masking — exhaustion, procrastination, or a mind that won't settle. ADHD isn't a deficit of attention; it's difficulty regulating attention, especially when tasks aren't naturally stimulating.
What it can feel like
Adult ADHD often looks different than childhood ADHD. You might be successful on paper but exhausted underneath — constantly catching up, apologizing for lateness, or living in cycles of burnout and collapse.
Many adults with ADHD have developed clever compensations. The problem is those compensations take enormous energy. Therapy and coaching can help you work with your brain instead of against it.

Common questions
Is the ASRS a diagnosis?
No. The ASRS is a screening tool that measures how much ADHD-related symptoms have been affecting you. A higher score suggests it's worth speaking with a professional; it does not diagnose ADHD on its own.
How long does the ADHD test take?
The ASRS has six questions and takes most people about two minutes. You get your results on screen immediately, and you can choose to have them emailed to you.
Can therapy help ADHD without medication?
Yes. Behavioral strategies, coaching, and therapy can make a significant difference. Some people also benefit from medication. We can figure out the right combination for you, and I can refer you for psychiatric evaluation if needed.
Do you work with ADHD in teens or children?
My primary work is with adults. For younger clients, I can discuss whether a referral to a specialist in child and adolescent ADHD would be more appropriate.
